the change we do NOT seek

GloriaArroyoPooreverResolution 1109 is an absolute and concrete example of the government’s underestimation of the masses’ capacity to comprehend to society’s prevailing issues..

the majority faction is actually a desperate move by the Administration to prolong the Arroyo regime, and on the process, prolong the agony of the Filipinos. as ive always said, the provisions of the Con-Ass and Cha-Cha is not bad.. but only after 2010 when a new kind of government has already been established.

for the information of everybody, the majority faction is both unconstitutional and unethical.. the Congress, which is composed of the House of Representatives and the Senate, is bi-cameral in nature. which means that these are actually two separate entities in terms of legislation. the majority faction as proposed by the administration, will merge these 2 chambers of congress and for the resolution to be legislated, majority (50% + 1) of the congressmen AND the senators should vote for it. which will be very easy considering the fact that more than half of the congressmen are allies of the president..

This actually proves the notion that MOST congressmen does not serve their purpose, which is to represent their constituents and not their own interests..

a wake up call for everybody. we must be more critical in choosing our leaders. let us not settle for TRAPOs. because in the end, we will face the consequences of our decisions.

at this point, what we need to change is the political system.. and not the constitution..

i am not anti con-ass and the more i am not for con-ass, but don’t you all think this is just a waste of time? these bloggings and eyeballs, rallies etc. di pa rin nila tayo marinig, at kung naririnig man tayo ng mga tao dyan sa House, still they don’t give a “D”. Because kahit na dumarami na ang sumisigaw sa kalye para ibasura ang con-ass, still there are politicians who obviously will walk side by side with us shouting anti-con-ass slogans, nagbabalat-kayo lamang for their own benefits. Di man lang sila marunong mahiya.

    • I totally get where you are coming from Juancho.. thank you.. pero gaya nga ng sinabi mo, kailangang ang pagbabago ay magsimula sa ating sarili.. wag na dapat tayong makontento sa pag upo lamang sa ating mga tahanan at manuod lamang ng telebisyon habang ang ating bayan ay niyuyurak na ng mga walang hiyang pulitiko na ang sarili lang ang iniisip.. kung hindi tayo kikilos, sino pa ba? hahayaan nalang ba natin silang ubusin ang ating kaban at tuluyang sirain ang ating kinabukasan? siyempre hindi. kaya any form of protest against this people will still be relevant.. that by the end of the day, if worst comes to worst, then we will be able to say that we were never part of the apathetic population in the Phils.

thank you for that enlightenment, sir. but sad to say I’ve done that and I’m sure a lot of Filipino have done the same, na hindi lang nakontento sa pag upo lamang sa ating mga tahanan, i’ve done that in several previous elections, but sad to say, sa wala rin napunta, napako pa rin ang mga pangako ng binoto nating mga pinuno, mga taong hinalal natin para makinig sa ating mga hinaing, may pagkakaiba pa ba sa darating na halalan? when all i can see are the same opposition politician faggots lurking beside or rather behind us, pushing us to demonstrate, to rally, to shout to the top of our voice. My point is, as long as those same face politicians, ma-pa opposition man o ma-pa administration, as long as sila pa rin ang mga player ng ating government, ay walang mangyayari.

  3. YES you have a point… pero on my part, i think that it is better na we tried changing the philippine political setting in our very own ways that not doing anything at all.. WE can always start with choosing our leaders. like example, by not letting these scumbags buy our vote or not by voting votebuyers.. those are simple acts but in the long run, will benefit the whole country

  5. ALL I CAN SAY:
I really appreciate those people who, despite other serious problem of our state never thought of second mind to get involved in “CHA-CHA”.Let’s protect our rights for it is the only treasure which we can inherit to the next generation.Let’s not set aside what Forfmer President Cory Aquino gave to us which is PEACE.I think the problem is not the type of government that what we have now it is the officials which is very greedy and corrupt.Thank you.

  6. I strongly believe that the problem is not the kind of constitution that we have it’s the political officials which is greedy and likely will do things to the benefit of their own interests. As other people said that the rich become richer while poor continue to become poor the person in position should make step how to prevent this because it is very observable.Let us not be afraid of taking a stand for which we are the people that make up this nation a nation cannot stand on its own.Lets fight against CON-ASS!
